Under the auspices of Dr./ Ashraf Al-Shehhi, the University President and the guidance of Dr./ abd El-Hakim Nour El-Din, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Public Administration of the University cities organized a meeting between university leadership and students of university cities (Males and Females) under the title of "Parents and sons meeting" on Monday, April 6, 2015, in order to get close to the university city students and listen to them to find out the difficulties they face and work to overcome it in the presence of deans and agents of colleges; Dr./ Yehia Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr./ Mohammed Baraka, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Adel Abd Allah, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr./ Ahmed Mashour, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr./ Midhat Al-Shafie, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education for Males, Dr./ Wafa Al-Iraqi, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Dr./ Ashraf Saber, Agent of the Faculty of Medicine for Education and Student Affairs, Dr./ Jamal El-Nobi, Agent of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and in the presence of Dr./ Ala El-Morshedy, Former Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Dr./ Fatma El-Sherbini, Professor at the Faculty of Technology and President of National Council for Women in Sharqia.
The meeting included an open discussion distinguished by friendliness and openness through which students expressed their problems freely and the attendance listened to them with an open heart.
At the end of the meeting, Dr./ Abd El-Hakim Nour El-Din promised to hold meetings on regular to strengthen the relationship between professors and students, and more precisely, between parents and sons to work on resolving the problems faced by the students immediately and follow-up the procedures one by one.
