Zagazig University Hockey team is the champion in the Egyptian universities
Zagazig University hockey team won the hockey championship in the sports tournament in Egyptian universities where the team earned the first place by beating the team of the higher institutes in the final which was held at the Hockey Stadium in Sharkia in the presence of Dr./ Ashraf Al-Shehhi, University President, Dr./ Hamid El-Qanawati, General Supervisor of Education and Student Affairs and Dr./ Ayman El-Basti, General coordinator of student activities and technical director of the team.
