The Development Projects Management Unit at the University of Zagazig announces that the University of Helwan reached for making a full Atlas with a geographical information system for the most suitable wind sites in Egypt which is considered as one of the outputs of the development projects of the program of the National Project (STDF) and the Atlas includes a complete study which includes the following: -
1 - (GIS) Model which is considered the first of its kind to determine the most suitable wind sites.
2 - The first comprehensive volume which includes Atlas of Egypt with an information system of the most suitable wind sites.
3 - The first computer system with making a complete decision GIS-MCDM Platform which was built on the World Wide Web and on a special site to choose the most suitable wind sites.
