Council approved the University of Zagazig session No. 452 on 21/1 on the proposal to establish a Center for Nanotechnology University Center for Scientific outstanding ( a research and a service ) , as well as project own Rules of Procedure and submitted by the Project Management Unit in implementation of the Strategic Plan for the University of Zagazig in 2013 .
The center is looking forward to enter and contribute to the development and applications of the field of Nanotechnology at the University of Zagazig and the use of science and nanotechnology techniques for the benefit of the nation and humanity ascends including research and innovative applications dating back to the public interest to science, industry and society .
The Center 's mission is as follows:
1 - Dissemination of the principles and foundations of the techniques of nanotechnology in all fields .
2 - Contributing to deepen and consolidate the foundations and theories in science Nanotechnology .
3 - the discovery and development of new applications and innovative science for the development of various industries and associated uses , which include health, industry, agriculture and the environment .
4 - the development of existing industries and the development of new industries based on technology and science Nanotechnology .
One of the main objectives of the center are:
1 - enter the field and support Nanotakulogy modern scientific discipline in the activities and services of the University of Zagazig .
2 - Support for scientific research, which seeks to study and apply the theories and principles of Nanotechnology in various scientific fields ( engineering , medicine , pharmacy science n n Agriculture , ........ , etc.) .
3 - Dissemination of knowledge on science and nanotechnology techniques , through the decisions and programs of study ( theory and practical ) targeted to university students and graduate students , and training programs for the principles and methodologies and techniques of nanotechnology in various fields .
4 - Strengthening the capacity and capabilities necessary for the establishment of academic programs in science and technology Nanotechnology at the university.
5 - linking university research and education , including the novelty and new techniques in science and nanotechnology .
It calls on Project Management Unit Colleagues who contributed their ideas and their work in the development of the building blocks for this center to prepare their thoughts and perceptions to put the message center and objectives in place , waiting to schedule the next meeting and will remain open for contributions to colleagues working in this field .
