In the framework of activating the cultural and scientific relations between Egypt and the Arab countries, the Institute of Asian Studies and Research at the University of Zagazig regulates a celebration of the of the Oman Day under the auspices of Dr./ Ashraf Al-Shehhi, President of the University that will be held on Monday, November 24, Feb. 2014, at the Institute with the participation of the Omani delegation headed by Dr./ Saeed bin Suleiman El-Eisaei, Cultural attache at Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo.
Dr./ Abd El-Hakim El-Tahhaawi, Dean of the Institute declares that the celebration begins at ten in the morning with the word of the Omani side delivered by the cultural attaché then the word of the University President and the word of the Governor of EL-Sharqia as well as its activities also include a seminar discusses relations between Egypt and Oman through the ages. Also the university team provides a musical part then the opening of a fair for Omani book and Omani food and crafts.
