Zagazig University Council resolutions headed by Prof. Dr./ Ashraf Al-Shehhi, who is in charge of the President of the University in a session No. ( 451 ) that was held on December 24, till December 31, 2013.

• Merging the computer labs within the units of ICT Cente:
Zagazig University Council resolutions headed by Prof. Dr./ Ashraf Al-Shehhi in a session No. ( 451 ) that was held on December 24, till December 31, 2013 approved on merging computer labs with its all equipment and human resources as an independent unit of ICT Units under the name of Electronic Computer Labs unit with action necessary to modify the organizational structure of the center to merge the unit among its units in order to serve all the activities of the center and the university.
It should be noted that this decision was part of the start of the university in the restructuring of the center of ICT, " special unit " so that the center can provide information technology services to all the units of the University and the surrounding community with the required efficiency , which requires providing the center with the financial and human resources that help it to do so. According to the study work to develop the activity of the computer labs and transfer it to a special unit that Dr./ Ashraf Al-Shehhi, University President assigned Dr./ Khaled Al-Darandly, Director of the center who made the research work from all its aspects and the proposal was to merge it in the manner that the University Council approved on it, Besides that the establishment of special units receives many new difficulties during the current period as well as the workers at the computer labs and their satisfaction with this proposal .

Zagazig University Council in the same session approved on the cooperation protocolamong Zagazig University, Dar El-Maarf Foundation and October Magazin with taking the rest of the procedures.
The protocol aims to common benefit of the abilities and activities of each of them in order to achieve the mutual interests and benefits for both which bring in general benefit to the students, faculty and employees at the university and a number of the items includes cooperation in many fields ; First, scientific and cultural cooperation , where the two sides agreed to hold the university conferences, seminars, training sessions and research in the Arab Center for Research and management ( Arak ) in maspiro in Cairo for the university students and faculty members to take advantage of its prime location and its long history in training, research and education . The fourth item is related to the magazine of October and the Journal of the Nile Valley , where the parties have approved on the publishing of any investigations, scientific discoveries and all activities that sponsored by the university through publishing it by the two magazines consistently on the front page within the framework of their mission to serve the national issues and institutions of science and research of the the state.
The fifth item regards central printing office at the University , where it was agreed that the engineers and experts, specialists and technicians printing Foundation repair and maintenance of printing machines in the university including the manufacture of parts working print shop as soon as the university asked the university. The Foundation provides maintenance and repair services for printing machines owned by the University upon request at any day of the week , including public holidays and at any time of the day according to the rules and procedures .
• Reducing the tuition fees in order to lighten the suffering of students and parents
The Board at the same session approved on the reduction of tuition fees for students who are registered at the new programs at various faculties of the university in the case of the death of the guardian during the academic year by 50 % of the value of the fees with the ability to pay expenses in two installments .
He also approved on reducing the value of the tuition fees by (10% ) only for the children of university employees and who are registered in the department of English , Faculty of Commerce first year ( freshman ) as well as those who are registered at the higher academic years, provided that the student must be successful and transferred to a higher academic year.
• The Nursing unit for chronic diseases is a special unit
The Board approved at the same session on modifing the name of the Nursing unit for chronic diseases at the Faculty of Nursing to become the Nursing unit for chronic diseases as a special unit
